Every Year, millions of people around the world take part in one of the biggest marches in the world and make their way to the city of Karbala, 62 miles south west of Baghdad to commemorate the death of the Prophet Mohammad's grandson Imam Hussein in 680 AD.

In her interview with ISCA News Agency, Dr. Laleh Eftekhari, deputy of Arbaeen educational cultural committee department for women, stated that Arba'een Pilgrimage, a spiritual walk, is the sign of a believer who believes the truth.

She said that women, as the family culture-makers, are responsible for educating their children. Participating in Arbaeen pilgrimage would institutionalize the culture of resistance, insight, sacrifice and martyrdom.

She hoped that participating in this spiritual walk would lead to the creation of a safe and righteous government in the world.

Last year, around 20 million pilgrims from all over the world gathered in Karbala on Arbaeen. The Iraqi city hosts the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS).
