Robotic Team of Nourabad Mamasani IAU to Take Part in FIRACup 2015

The robotics team of Nourabad Mamasani branch of Islamic Azad University has been qualified for participation in the first FIRACup Open international competition, which will be held by Amirkabir University of Technology this year.

According to Azad News Agency (ANA), Hamidreza Sadat, the head of the robotics team of Nourabad Mamasani IAU, has stated that more than 1400 participants – with 190 medical, aerial, terrestrial, mine-detecting, manufacturing, footballer, humanoid, and router robots – will take part in this round of competitions which is to be held on November 14-19.

“The robotics team of Nourabad Mamasani IAU will take part in the mine-detecting robots category”, added Sadati. “The team consists of Milad Darabi and Pejman Moradi, students at the abovementioned IAU branch, along with Mr. Mirzaei, the project advisor.”
