IAU Must Establish Persian Language Courses in International Branches

In the 139th meeting of IAU’s board of directors, the president of Islamic Azad University has emphasized the importance of establishing courses on Persian Language and Literature, Iranian civilization, and Islamic-Iranian Art in IAU’s international branches.

According to ISCA, Dr. Mirzadeh noted that most countries strive to develop their language by introducing it beyond their borders and that in order to allow for proliferation of the Persian language, the cooperation of IAU’s Vice Presidency for Cultural and Student Affairs, Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in Iranian schools, schools abroad which are run by Iran’s Ministry of Education, and Saadi Foundation is necessary.

Dr. Mirzadeh also placed specific emphasis on the importance of establishing courses such as Persian Language and Literature, Iranian civilization, and Islamic-Iranian Art in Oxford, Emirates, Beirut, and Moscow IAU branches and mentioned that presenting lesson plans, student admission, and sending out educational staff must be done with the collaboration of students and consideration of educational, and cultural affairs.

He finally added that IAU has a key role in developing and showing the richness of the Persian language to the world and acknowledged this issue as an essential duty and obligation.
