Mashhad IAU Opens Data Center

The president of Islamic Azad University has inaugurated a high-tech data center in IAU, Mashhad branch.

According to Azad News Agency (ANA), this center, with ​​over 550 square meter, is fully operational and includes server rooms, electrical rooms, switching, and security control.

The Data center of the Mashhad Information, Communication, and Technology Organization has a capacity of 300 physical and 2000 virtual servers and was built based on the global standard, TIA-942, and is able to present various services to the users.

In related IT news, Dr. Mirzadeh also unveiled a laptop called the “KIA Green System” made by KIA, a knowledge based company. This device has all the capabilities expected of modern laptops, but will be marketed cheaper than other models and brands.
