IAU to Launch Dentistry College in Uganda

The general director of IAU international affairs has announced that the university will be launching a dentistry college in Uganda to provide educational facilities.

According to ISNA, Dr. Hossein Ebrahimi stated that IAU aims to supply educational facilities for countries in need, such as Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon.

Previously, in late August this year, Dr. Anganji, deputy of IAU international affairs met with Ugandan ambassador to Iran, Mohammad Ahmad Kissule and discussed cooperation opportunities for Uganda and IAU, particularly in medical, veterinary, pharmaceutical and agricultural sciences.

Dr. Ebrahimi also noted that in order to apply scientific advances of other countries, arrangements are being made to establish joint offices in Europe, Italy, and Austria. Preliminary negotiations were done with Sapienza University of Rome and University of Ferrara. These two academic centers have been invited to establish offices in one of IAU’s branches in Iran.
