IAU Holds a Key Role in Production of Science

The president of Islamic Azad University has emphasized the developiment of IAU’s financial resources and income through business incubators and knowledge based companies and also absorbing investment via the SHAFA (Azad Technology Town) project in IAU’s Tehran board of trustees.

According to ISCA, Dr. Hamid Mirzadeh stated that one of the best ways of supplementing IAU’s income is through non-tuition sources such as SAHA (System of Azad Cooperative Labs.

Dr. Mirzadeh also declared that all the students from all around the country may utilize the facilities in the SAHA laboratories and workshops.

Possible use of SAHA services for all students, establishing research institutes, IAU’s competition with 2300 universities in the country, and allocation of 60 million dollars for providing educational facilities to 10 percent of graduates were some of the issues discussed in this session.

Dr. Mirzadeh noted that IAU plays a significant role in science production in Middle East.
