Hamadan SAMA IAU Shines in Int’l INVENTIONS GENEVA 2016

Computer engineering student of SAMA -affiliated with Islamic Azad University-has succeeded in taking two gold medals and a bronze in the International Exhibition of Invention of Geneva, 2016.

According to ANA (Azad News Agency), presenting three creative inventions to this exhibition with the titles of ‘Walker Devices for the Elderly & Disabled’, ‘Welding Nano Mask’, and ‘Nano Diapers’ - all of which have received Patent Certificates,- Elaheh Zare-ekbatani, student of Hamadan SAMA IAU, in the International Exhibition of Invention of Geneva, 2016.

These inventions were assessed by 85 specialist judges who finally deemed that "Walker Devices for the Elderly & Disabled’ and ‘Welding Nano Mask’ were worthy of gold medals and nominated ‘Nano Diapers’ for bronze.

the "Walker Devices for the Elderly & Disabled" project is equipped with air mattresses and positioning system which protects users from injuries in an emergency situation. It also can send their exact geographic position via SMS to families. The "Welding Nano Mask" prevents nephropathy, dry eye syndrome, and migraine in welders.

More than 700 producers and inventers took part in the annual event from more than 45 countries. INVENTIONS GENEVA 2016 was held from April 13-17, 2016.
