According to an ANA report, , Reza Nasrollahi Narges Abad, IAU graduate student of microbiology and member of Young Researchers and Elite Club, main designer and the head of research team, explained that one of the main problems in laboratories regarding microbiological cultures is sample contamination which can result from poor sterilizing tools and equipment or contaminated environments.

He explained that in comparison with the conventional method of sterlizing lab equipment with flames, this device is capable of full auto-sterilization which it can perform in the shortest period of time. It is also fitted with relevant indicators and notification systems.

Nasrollahi gained a gold medal in 2013 Innovation & Technology Exhibition, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The young inventor has already won the awards for best invention of year 2013 in Beijing Invention Competition and also owns a diploma of honor from Poland.
