Student of Mianeh IAU becomes Champion in Iraq World Martial Arts

Alireza Ghanbari, student of Islamic Azad University, Mianeh branch, ranks first in Open International Martial Arts Championships in the kickboxing section.

According to an ANA report, in the semi-professional competitions held in Erbil, Iraq, Alireza Ghanbari, kick boxer, defeated all rivals and took the gold medal and the championship belt in this tournament.

18 athletes in 11 weight classes (95, 90, 85, 80, 75, 70, 65, 60, 55, and 50kg ), and two open weight classes (100 and +100kg,) participated and in the – 80 kg weigh class, Mianeh IAU also achieved the quota required for the pro leagu.

Winning 3 gold medals in the National Kickboxing Competition, 2 gold medals in the Professional Super-Fight League, and the title of champion in the National Wushu Competition are some of Ghanbari’s previous honors.
