IAU & Genoa University to Further Academic Cooperation

Officials of Islamic Azad University and Genoa University of Italy talked on expanding research and academic cooperation between the two universities.

According to an ISCA report, in addition to dentistry, the two universities are planning to develop their academic cooperation in other medical and non-medical fields of science.

The head of IAU Medical Sciences International relations Development, Dr. Mohammad Shams Ardakani, pointed to the capabilities of IAU, its status as the biggest brick-and-mortar university in the world and its potentials for developing research and scientific cooperation, academic exchanges and joint research projects.

Dr. Angelo Musaio, the head of Genoa University international relations, expressed his willingness for expanding cooperation in fields as diverse as engineering, biomedical engineering, architecture, and energy.

Improving the level and quality of mutual cooperation between IAU and Genoa University is a promising project, to the point that it may be even considered for presentation as a European Commission Research Project (EU Horizon 2020).
