IAU to Admit a Thousand Expat Students

The Director General of International Affairs of Islamic Azad University spoke of admitting a thousand foreign national students in the coming educational year.

According to IRNA, Dr. Hossein Ebrahimi stated that expats, who are mostly from Iran's neighboring countries, have taken to IAU IT programs.

Dr. Ebrahimi also mentioned that Iranian students who are live abroad may use the newly-launched registration system.

“Based on the resolution of the IAU board of trustees, these students can enter PhD and MA programs without taking an entrance exam in 2016 – 2017, provided that they meet the stated criteria“ he explained.

Dr. Ebrahimi also noted that all the classes will be held online with collaboration of the IAU virtual elearning unit and IAU international offices are responsible for planning and carrying out final exams.

IAU currently has 200 active branches with a million and 7 hundred students. 19 of these branches are active as comprehensive universities.
