East Tehran IAU & Universiti Putra Malaysia Ink MoU

The IAU East Tehran branch, and Science and Technology Transfer Center, affiliated to Universiti Putra Malaysia, have signed a cooperation MoU.

According to an ISCA report, during the International Conference on Science and Technology Development in Islamic Countries at East Tehran IAU and through the efforts of the conference executive committee, the Science and Technology Transfer Center, affiliated with Universiti Putra Malaysia, signed a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with East Tehran IAU branch.

This MoU, which will be valid for 5 years, was signed with the presence of Dr. Reza Kiajouri, deputy of science and research of East Tehran IAU, and Dr. Farzad Hejazi, head of Technology Transfer Center.

The MOU continues along the main lines of the conference and aims at:

  • Creating a coherent and homogeneous network of the activists in the field of technology in Islamic countries to clarify joint collaborations;
  • Studying and identifying the current challenges and problems of the Islamic relations development in the field of technology;
  • Defining necessary infrastructures in order to benefit from the private sector’s potentials and develop international relations;
  • Stating joint objectives in the field of technology through the common religious, social, economic and cultural points of the Muslim nations.
