The investors of South Korea’s KCT Company visited the solar power station located in Islamic Azad University, Fasa branch.

IAU public relations reports that the head of Fasa IAU, Mehrdad Karimi, announced the solar power station project will be carried out with the cooperation of KCT with an investment of 600 million dollars and that “this project will follow a BOT methodology and will start operating in 15 months.”

Hamzeh Sarouee, the head of Fars province IAU, explained that MoUs regarding two other projects, which are magnetic power plants and a cultural-commercial complex, have been signed and noted that all the equipment used in this project will be supplied from domestic products.

As Dr. Mohammad Javad Jamali, the Fasa representative in Islamic Consultative Assembly, noted, solar energy is the cleanest and most abundant renewable energy source available and provides immense resources which can generate clean, non-polluting and sustainable electricity while not adding to global warming emissions.

“This project will be one of our biggest, most successful, and modern projects for producing electricity in the region,” one of the Korean investors finally added.

KCT (Korea Computer Terminal Inc.) terminal manufacturer is active in the banking and wagering terminal industry since 1974.
