Qazvin IAU Students have built the Quadro (Q1), an electric automobile, in order to overcome air pollution.

According to an ISCA report, Meysam Adibi, a member of the Qazvin IAU incubator center, stated that facing air pollution, especially in metropolitan areas, makes electric vehicles an alternative that is immediately more desirable.

“Most First World countries and developed nations mass-produce green cars as their energy will be supplied from renewable sources which provide the best alternative for cars available in a market,” he explained.

Adibi also noted that Qazvin IAU has so far produced 5 electric automobiles for the first time in the country, and that the car, which is recharged with conventional electric power, covers about 100 km per each charge and also can be controlled in steep inclines.

The car is half-sized of the conventional vehicles and does not produce any environmental pollution. Adibi said that the Quadro electric car needs to be supported to reduce air pollution, and will hope gain traction in the market to play a role in public welfare.”
