S & R IAU Student Ranks 3rd in INSPIRELI AWARDS 2016

IAU, Science and Research branch PhD student Somaye Ravanshad-nia and her group ranked 3rd in INSPIRELI AWARDS 2016.

INSPIRELI AWARDS is one of the most successful talent contests for young and beginning architects and designers. Somaye Ravanshad-nia competed alongside Ataeddin Shashmani and Mohammad Mahdi Vahedi and stated that the project ‘Azerbaijan Square’ was presented from Iran in this tournament, ISCA reports.

She explained that INSPIRELI is the first social network for world architects and designers that provides free sharing space for participants present their plans, and also promotes direct contact among architects, designers, and executive teams from around the world.

In order to participate in this competition, applicants register on Inspireli as a student, architect or designer, and then upload and tag 1-3 selected photos as contest photos which are instantly displayed in the Contest photo gallery.

Ravanshad-nia stated that more than 1052 designers and architects from 99 countries and 300 universities participated in this tournament and 2903 photos were uploaded. ‘Azerbaijan Square’ took the 3rd place, tying with another plan from Italy.
