IAU Officials Participate in Revolution Anniversary Public Rallies

The officials of Islamic Azad University participated in the Bahman 22nd public rallies to mark the anniversary of the Revolution of 1979.

According to an ISCA report, the IAU president stated that the day, Bahman 22nd represents Iran’s political honor and people show that they stand together with their Islamic Revolution. He also added that the day marks the triumphant establishment of a system based on religious democracy by Imam Khomeini (RA) and his companions, Ayatollah Khamenei and Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani.

Dr. Mirzadeh also added that the 22nd of Bahman is also a day of offering thanks for the achievements of the revolution and this gratitude can build the nation. He also pointed to Iran’s academic glory as one of the achievements of the Islamic Revolution and noted that today Iran is one of the world's forerunners in academic production.

The head of Islamic Azad University boards of trustees and founders, and the Center for Strategic Research at the Expediency Discernment Council, Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati also participated in this nationwide commemoration of the Iranian Islamic revolution, as were other IAU officials including the Deputy of Student and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Taha Hashemi; deputy of Planning and knowledge-based economy, Dr. Fereydoun Rahnama Roudposhti; deputy of Research and Technology, Dr. Vasheghani Farahani; deputy of Parliamentary Affairs, Hojjat al-Eslam Ali Askari; Deputy of Administration and Finance, Dr. Morteza Ehsani; deputy of the IAU Medical Sciences Division, Dr. Abtahi; head of SAMA Organization, Dr. Zarhani; Directorate of Sports, Dr. Dadgan.

Iranians held nationwide rallies throughout the country on Friday, which marked Islamic Revolution Victory Day on the 22 of Bahman (February 10th), to celebrate the 38th victory anniversary of the Iranian Islamic Revolution by taking to the streets in the capital city of Tehran and 5,000 cities, towns and villages.
