ITP CAS Visits Karaj IAU for Further Academic Co-op

A Chinese delegation from the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Science has visited facilities, laboratories, and equipment of Islamic Azad University, Karaj branch.

According to ANA, a team of the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Science visited and met with Karaj IAU officials aimed to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation.

The head of Karaj IAU International Affairs, Dr. Amir Houshang Soltani, stated that a cooperation agreement was also signed by both universities in order to collaborate academically, carry out international research projects, conduct mutual research and scientific workshops, make use of research opportunities, run research centers, exchange students, and hold academic seminars and forums.

The Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research (ITP) was founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2003 and aims to better understand the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and its climate and environmental changes, as well as enhance sustainable development in the region.
