IAU & Syria to Develop Academic Co-op

A 30-member delegation from Syria has visited various scientific, educational and research sections of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research branch.

According to ISCA, the head of Science and Research branch of Islamic Azad University, Dr. Ali Abbasspour spoke to the members of the delegation, which included including faculty, judges, MPs experts and businessmen, and announced that the university and its numerous specialized laboratories and workshops are prepared to cooperate with Syrian universities and research centers.

Dr. Abbasspour explained that the cultural similarities of Iran and Syria would be their strong point in developing exchanges and due to the available capacities and also students of higher education, a multitude of joint PhD. and MA projects may be defined.

Iran-Syria Social Ties Development Project Manager, Mohammad Reza Hajian, stated that this academic meeting would have positive effects on both the official ties and the social relations between the two countries.

In conclusion, he expressed his hopes for expanding academic cooperations, exchanging faculty and students, and developing economic collaborations between two countries.
