Faculty Member of Rasht IAU Ranks 2nd in 2017 Poland INTARG

A faculty member of Rasht Islamic Azad University has ranked 2nd in the 10th International Invention and Innovation Show INTARG, Poland.

According to an ISCA report, Dr. Peyman Bayat received a silver medal because of his invention “Early Stroke Detection Software” in the 10th International Invention and Innovation Show INTARG, organized by Haller Pro Invention Foundation, which was held from 21nd to 23rd, June, 2017 in International Conference Centre in Katowice.

Dr. Bayat explained that early stroke detection device works through processing CT images of the brain. He also added that the device can detect blood flow disorder to the brain at least an hour or at most three months before the incident happens through analyzing CT scans, therefore it can be used in avoiding the brain stroke.

Exhibitors from Poland and abroad, including research and development units, innovative enterprises from SEM sector and large enterprises, producers and offerors of innovative products, technologies and market services, and business environment institutions, entities supporting and cooperating with academia also participated in this events.
