Qazvin IAU MRL Team to Participate in RoboCup 2017

The reputed robotic team, MRL from Islamic Azad University, Qazvin branch, which is well-known in Iran and West Asia, will participate in RoboCup2017, Nagoya, Japan.

According to an ISCA report, Robocup 2017 will take place in Nagoya, Japan in July 22-28, 2017 with participants from Germany, USA, Japan, Portugal, Netherlands, Mexico, China, South Korea, United Kingdom, Brazil, Turkey and Iran.

In this tournament, six Qazvin IAU robotic teams in Rescue Robot, Small Size Robot Soccer Game, Simulation Robot, Virtual Robot, Nao Soccer Player Robot, and Humanoid Robot categories will compete in five main leagues.

It worth mentioning that Qazvin IAU Small Size Robot Soccer Game Team took first place in RoboCup 2016 in Leipzig, Germany. It is considered to be one of the most formidable teams in this tournament and will be in the spotlight of attention for other teams and robotics experts.

Coinciding with RoboCup 2017 Nagoya, Japan, the International Exhibition for Young Inventors will be held by the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation. This international event will consist of an exhibition and a contest of inventions from around the world. The event will bring together some 200 young people from 20 countries worldwide.
