South Tehran IAU Sends Out Students to Germany

The Office of International Affairs of Islamic Azad University, South Tehran has sent out the first group of students to German universities with contractual agreements.

According to an ISCA report, the head of South Tehran IAU, Dr. Behrouz Daneshian and head of Office of International Affairs, Dr. Farivar Fazelpour, had signed cooperation MoUs with Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences, Erfurt University of Applied Sciences and Technische Universität Ilmenau before.

The signed MoUs aimed at exchanging students and faculty members, sharing universities’ publications, developing South Tehran IAU research and academic areas, and carrying out mutual collaboration in research centers within both countries.

Dr. Farivar Fazelpour explained that the universities will admit those students who are accepted in international entrance tests for higher educational to continue their education in 31 majors including international law, applied design of mechanical engineering, research-industrial engineering in operations and systems, chemical engineering, bioelectrical medical engineering at the Ph.D. level, electrical engineering, international law, software engineering, mechanical engineering in energy conversion, civil engineering, industrial management of system management and optimization, architectural engineering, and bioelectrical medical engineering.

Based on the contract between South Tehran IAU and German universities, mutual certificates will be issued which are recognized in both countries. It worth mentioning that South Tehran IAU is the first university to sign MoUs with the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences, Erfurt University of Applied Sciences and Technische Universität Ilmenau so far.
