SAMA Kan IAU Student Grab Bronze at 29th Summer Universiade

A PE student of SAMA Kan Islamic Azad University has snatched bronze in Karate at the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei.

According to an ISCA report, at the end of Taekwondo competitions of 29th Summer Universiade, "Mahdi Jamali" achieved bronze in individual Poomsae, Male team Poomsae and pair mixed team. Jamali had already won a bronze in the men’s Individual Freestyle Poomsae on the first day of the competitions as his compatriot.

More than 7,500 athletes represent 144 countries at the 29th edition of the Summer Universiade, an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
