Afghanistan Academic Delegation Visits Mashhad IAU

A delegation of Afghan university officials visited Mashhad Islamic Azad University and asked for research and academic collaborations as well as developing medical education.

The head of Mashhad IAU, Dr. Mahdi Maleknejad, declared that due to the university’s infrastructure and high potential, the university is ready to cooperate academically with Afghanistan, ANA reports.

He added that Golbahar International Complex is considered as the great situation for admitting foreign students and creating research-academic collaborations. Dr. Maleknejad said that the university is ready to cooperate in various fields especially in exchanging faculty and admitting students in technical and engineering, humanities and medical sciences.

Dr. Maleknejad also declared that these cooperation will be increased through signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in future and Afghanistan universities will be able to use laboratory facilities of Mashhad IAU.

The deputy of Balkh University expressed his satisfaction and called IAU as one of the reputable university in the world. He believed that raising people’s awareness and knowledge is the only way to prevent war and put it to an end. He also emphasized on exchanging students and using medical experiences.
