Iran managed to collect three gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the 2017 Summer Universiade in Chinese Taipei, ANA reports.
In Men's Taolu - Daoshu & Gunshu event, Amir Mohammad Rezaei, Mashhad IAU student, stood on the third podium. The other bronze medal for the Persians was bagged by Fatemeh Heidari at Women's Taolu - Nanquan & Nandao.
As a result, Iran ranks 10th in the medal standings with a total of eight gold, four silver and eleven silver trophies. Attracting sportive university students from across the globe, the multi-sport event kicked off on August 19 in Chinese Taipei until August 30.
