IAU Ranking Position Improves in Essential Science Indicators

The Senior Manager of Science Development and Scientometrics of ‎Islamic Azad University has announced the university’s ranking promotion based on the most recent update of Essential Science Indicators.

According to IAU public relations, Mitra Hashemi Tabatabaei stated that based on the latest update of Essential Science Indicators (ESI) in September 14, 2017, Islamic Azad University climbed 2 places and ranked 129 in this citation database.

With 40047 scientific document and a total of 224,251 citations, IAU placed 129th in world and 1st in the country’s ranking during 10 years and 6 months.

Tabatabaei spoke of the ESCI-Emerging Sources Citation Index and explained that due to the acceptance of IAU magazine, "International Nano Letters” in ESCI affiliated to Web of SCIENCE, number of accepted journals for registration has reached to 11.
