IAU Scientometric and Research Assistance Systems Begin Its Activities

The general-director of Medical Sciences IAU Research, Technology and Innovation Development Office, has announced the beginning activities of “Scientometric and Research Assistance Systems” in this university.

According to an ISCA report, Dr. Hengameh Bakhtiar stated that the system began its activities as a research tool for researchers to create advancement in medical science research area.

She explained that Research Assistance System mechanizes both students’ research activities and professors’ research projects as well as providing online monitoring system in Deputy of Medical Sciences and its executive branches.

Dr. Bakhtiar also added that Scientometric system has four main parts including open access articles, Scientometrics of faculty members at Scopus and ISI databases, Scientometrics of academic branches based on their published articles in ISI, Scopus, Pubmed and ISC and medical research centers evaluation section which determine the units ranking based on its results.
