Mashhad IAU Student Bags Gold in World Wushu Championships

A student of Islamic Azad University, Mashhad branch, has staged praiseworthy displays of physical and mental skills and won a gold medal at the 14th edition of World Wushu Championships.

According to an ISCA report, Amir Mohammadrezaei Arrehkamar took the honors after beating his opponents and collected the gold medal of the tournament.

Wushu is an ancient Chinese martial art that harmoniously combines the practice of combat techniques with the training of the person's personality: physical, intellectual, mental and moral qualities.

The 14th World Wushu Championships, the official world championship event which is hosted by the International Wushu Federation, was held on September 27 and concluded on October 3, 2017.
