IAU Branches Present 50 Nano Products in the 10th Int’l Nanotechnology Festival & Exhibition

Branches of Islamic Azad University have presented almost 50 products in various areas of nanotechnology in the 10th International Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition in Iran.

According to IAU public relations, the 10th International Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition kicked off in Tehran International Permanent Fairground on October 6 and will continue up to October 9, 2017. Almost 100 domestic and foreign companies participated in the event in the field of nanotechnology productions which 43 % of them showed up or showcased their products for the first time in this festival.

The festival comprises of twelve pavilions designed to present products of companies active in various field of nanotechnology such as: Water & Environment & Energy, Healthcare, Automotive Industry, Construction Industry, Textile Industry, Petroleum & Related Industries, Agriculture & Packaging, Nano-material Suppliers, Machinery & Lab Equipment Manufacturers, Tech-Market Services Company, Public Education and Trading Companies.

Islamic Azad University, Amirkabir University of Technology, Sharif University of Technology, Iran University of Science and Technology, Alzahra University, Isfahan University of Technology, and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Yazd participated in this exhibition.

As an IAU representative, Central Tehran and some other branches presented 50 nano products including wound healing pad, antimicrobial absorbent pad, nano respiratory mask, composite, cellulose and microbial nano-fibers, heterogeneous catalyst, and etc.

Nanotechnology International Festival is held annually by Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council, and it is the largest and most credible domestic exhibition in the field of nanotechnology, and is considered as the second nanotechnology festival in Asia.
