IAU Launches Multilingual Foreign Students Admission Website

The General Director of Islamic Azad University, International Affairs, has stated that almost nine thousand non-Iranian students are studying in the university national and international branches.

According to an ISCA report, Dr. Hossein Ebrahimi explained that the IAU Foreign Students Admission Website, fstudent.iau.ir, is active in three languages including English, Persian and Arabic. Almost 2352 students have registered in this system so far.

As he said, the university aims at admitting at least 50 thousand non-Iranian students till 2025. Dr. Ebrahimi continued that more than 3,000 students are currently studying in UAE, Afghanistan, and Lebanon branches, “IAU has 9 international units located in Free-trade zones including, Bandar-e Anzali, Golbahar, Kish, Qeshm, Persian Gulf, Ayatollah Amoli, Chabahar, Maku and Jolfa.”

“Admission of non-Iranian students is a process under direct interaction with Student Affairs Organization of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology regarding Consular, Visa, and Accommodation affairs,” Dr. Hossein Ebrahimi mentioned.
