Excavating iron ore deep from the heart of Golgohar Desert demands nothing but shear will. Those dedicated who first embarked upon such a great journey, made great sacrifices to establish such an enterprise. To illustrate their attempts, a functional munument, just like that of a massive mine, was designed to give an overview of this gem the found in Sirjan's desert.

The American Architecture Prize honors designs in the disciplines of architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture with the goal of advancing the appreciation of architecture worldwide.
