Karaj SAMA IAU Student Ranks Top in Seoul Intl. Invention Fair 2017

A student of SAMA Karaj Islamic Azad University has been chosen as the Top World Inventor and won silver medal in the Seoul International Invention Fair 2017, held from November 30th to December 3rd.

According to an ISCA report, IFIA is the global platform for invention and innovation, enthusiasts, inventor associations, invention exhibitions, innovative knowledge and cooperation. "Seoul International Invention Fair 2017" has been held at Seoul COEX Hall A from November 30 to December 3 with the presence of 630 inventions from 30 countries.

Pedram Foroughi-Shad, student of electronics in Karaj SAMA branch, and Abdollah Ezzatvar, volunteer in Red Crescent Society and the head of Kuhsar Fire Station, participated in this international fair by presenting a kind of snow chain attached to the drive wheels of a vehicle or special systems deploy chains which swing under the tires automatically and became top in this exhibition.

This fair is characterized not only as the exhibition of inventions but also as a general event in which international organizations and several patent and technology agencies can participate. Therefore, it provided inventors from all over the world with an opportunity to open up various markets, including technology transfer, purchase, and investment counseling.
