The Acting-Head of the IAU Printing, Publishing and Media Affairs Organization pointed to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei saying in his meeting with young elites and outstanding scientific talents that were in line with strengthening science-industry relationship, increasing the Innovation Fund budget and forming Science and Technology Headquarters.

According to an ISCA report, Dr. Saleh Eskandari explained that in order to present specialized strategies in facing the issue of dependence, it is first necessary to find-out the fields and areas of country’s academic affiliation.

Dr. Eskandari noted that “being dependent on the Western content and resources”, “Iranian market dependence on the Western technologies” and “psychological or mental dependence on western thoughts” were three main areas of Ayatollah Khamenei’s saying and explained that all of these areas could be solved in universities.

He continued that producing native curriculum content as well as moving from a mere translation approach toward combining both translated and native courses can be a fundamental strategy to reduce dependency.
