Khormoj IAU Runner-Up in RoboCup 2018

The robotic team of Khormoj Islamic Azad University ranked 2nd in the 13th RoboCup Iran Open competitions hosted by Babol (Noshirvani) University of Technology in February 5-7. 2018.

According to an ISCA report, the Persian Gulf robotic team of Khormoj IAU headed by Dr. Hassan Ghaedi, faculty member of computer department, could win 6 competitions and became runner-up in Robot Fighter League in the 13th RoboCup Iran Open competitions.

RoboCup (Originally called as Robot World Cup Initiative) is an international research and education initiative. It is an attempt to foster AI and intelligent robotics research by providing a standard problem where wide range of technologies can be integrated and examined, as well as being used for integrated project-oriented education.
