Tehran SAMA IAU Ranks Top in RoboCup 2018

The 13th RoboCup Iran Open competitions has been held by Babol (Noshirvani) University of Technology in February 5-7. 2018.

According to an ISCA report, Tehran SAMA IAU RoboCup team headed by Noushin Mahdavi, ranked first in Flying Robot League and took the second place in Robot Fighter League as well.

Applying 3D printing technology, Darian IAU robotic team also ranked first by creating Human-Robot Interaction which aids physically disabled people for the first time in the country.

RoboCup (Originally called as Robot World Cup Initiative) is an international research and education initiative. It is an attempt to foster AI and intelligent robotics research by providing a standard problem where wide range of technologies can be integrated and examined, as well as being used for integrated project-oriented education.
