University of Tehran Holds Int’l Conference on Natural Resources Management in Developing Countries

Faculty of Natural Resources University of Tehran has organized the International Conference on Natural Resources Management in Developing Countries in Karaj, Iran, February 25, 2018.

According to an ISCA report, more than 39 participants from various countries participated in the "International Conference on Natural Resources Management in Developing Countries" in order to take an effective impact in the field of natural resources sustainable management.

Ph.D in Rangemanagement Department of Reclemation of Arid &Mountain Provinces Faculty of Natural Resources College of Agriculture & Natural Resources, University of Tehran, Karaj, Dr. Hossein Azarnivand, stated that the conference aimed at building the "communication bridge" that allows students send, receive, and interpret messages with ease with students from other countries as well as increasing environmental activities and protecting natural resources.

He also added that environmental protection, environmental pollution, desertification, Watershed Management, Forestry, Fisheries and wood and paper engineering were the main subjects of this conference.

Considering the importance of the Natural Resources Management for planning in development countries and the necessity for interaction in scientific, research and executive parts to natural resources sustainable development, cultural development in this field can be an effective step towards these goals.

In this complementary collection, the university has always played an important role in providing research, investigation, science and human resource training. At the core of this scientific collection, agriculture and natural resources students as vital arteries play a role in order to achieve the ideal goals of natural resources in developing countries.

Therefore, the students scientific communities in the Faculty of Natural Resources University of Tehran has organized an "International Conference on Natural Resources Management in Developing Countries" to take an effective step in the field of natural resources culture and to activate student branches.
