Iran Hosts 1st Int’l Nanotechnology Olympiad (INO)

The 1st International Nanotechnology Olympiad dubbed INO has been held in Iran in Pardis Technology Park for six days, on April 10th 2018.

According to an ISCA report, eight countries from Asia and Europe including Taiwan, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Iran, England, Italy, and Germany participated in this Olympiad and competed for the best plan for tackling environmental issues.

The best feasible idea for tackling environmental issues were selected by the juries which consisted of nano experts from different countries.

In this event, South Korea ranked top in Innovation, the team from Malaysia became top in Science and Technology, Iran took the first place in Business and Taiwan became top in General Section.

The competition aims at motivating university students to practice their knowledge and skills in solving real world challenges, hopefully enabling startup teams, and creating a global network of students and experts.
