Central Tehran IAU Clothing Trade Fair on Display

Designers of Faculty of Art and Architecture of Islamic Azad University Tehran Center Branch have shown their latest clothes which marry a modest aesthetic with fashion forward trends.

According to an ISCA report, attended by the head of Art and Architecture of Central Tehran IAU, Dr. Mohammad Ali Khabari, this specialized exhibition for clothing was opened to the public with the title of “Melorina Dress Design”.

The project executor, Ghazaleh Bakhtiari stated that the exhibition aims to introduce the potentials and capabilities of students of costume designers, set the ground for cooperation and cohesion among the activists in the field, encourage competition and exchange of information between manufacturers and exporters, promote domestic production, and enhance the effectiveness of Iranian brands.

As she explained, due to the great mix of tradition and modernity, Islamic dress are shaped both global fashion trends and religious beliefs so all sectors of society can use them.

The Clothing Trade Fair of Faculty of Art and Architecture of Centeral Tehran IAU has been held on May 6 for three days at Islamic Azad University Tehran Central Branch.
