On the Occasion of the 1st National Conference on Ethics and Mysticism in Persian Literature

Dr. Rahbar: Iran is the Birthplace of the Greatest Muslim Mystics

The first national conference on ethics and mysticism in Persian literature has been held in Zahedan Islamic Azad University in May 9, 2018.

According to an ISCA report, the first national conference on ethics and mysticism in Persian literature was held with the presence of prominent national masters and professors in al-Allamah al-Hilli conference hall at Zahedan IAU.

The IAU president, Dr. Farhad Rahbar has issued a message and stated that Iranians have a strong spiritual background in their historical lives and Islam in Iran has had a mystical interpretation from long time ago.

“Undoubtedly, language and literature are considered as the most important factors in the cultural identity of nations and countries. Literature is a kind of cultural heritage that is passed from generation to another,” he mentioned.

Investigating linguistic, grammatical, aesthetic and content features of mystical works, introducing precious manuscripts, psychological, sociological and mythological view in mystical works, reviewing world’s reflection toward mystics of Iran and Islam, and discussing various relevant issues were the subjects of this conference.
