The president of Islamic Azad University, Dr. Farhad Rahbar has invited the heads and members of the IAU boards of trustees and directors, and the great extended family of the Islamic Azad University, esteemed faculty and colleagues, students and their families to take part in Quds Day rallies.

According to an ISCA report, Dr. Rahbar issued a message and invited great family of the Islamic Azad University to attend the International Quds Day demonstrations in large numbers, saying Quds Day which is the everlasting memorial of the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini (r.a), has come to symbolize the united global struggle against oppression and tyranny worldwide, with the decades long, Palestinian battle for recognition and freedom from brutal Israeli apartheid, central to that struggle.

As he noted, oppressed people have been displaced from their homes for more than six decades and we are witnessing more crimes and cruelty in occupied territories so without a doubt, academics are able to have scientific and legal proceedings against injustice and oppression imposed on the Palestinian people.

The IAU president invited the great extended family of the Islamic Azad University to participate in the demonstrations to send the message of the oppressed people of Palestine to the world and the final victory is for the oppressed and right-seekers.
