S & R IAU, UNIDROIT Sign Co-op MoU

Islamic Azad University, Science and Research branch and UNIDROIT, an intergovernmental organization on harmonization of private international law, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cultural, scientific and educational cooperation for three years.

According to an ISCA report, the vice-chancellor of Science and Research IAU, Dr. Ghasem Amou Abedini and Secretary-General ad interim, Prof. Anna VENEZIANO, signed a cooperation MoU.

Exchanging faculties, researchers and students, holding seminars, conferences, courses and workshops as well as having cooperation in line with promoting common goals of both parties are some terms of this agreement.

The International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) is an independent intergovernmental Organization with its seat in the Villa Aldobrandini in Rome. Its purpose is to study needs and methods for modernizing, harmonizing and coordinating private and in particular commercial law as between States and groups of States and to formulate uniform law instruments, principles and rules to achieve those objectives.
