Brussels to Host 2018 Iran-Europe Cooperation Conference

The 2nd International Iran-Europe Economic and Technological Conference will be held in Brussels on June 21-22, 2018.

According to an ISCA report, Belgian capital city of Brussels will host the 2nd International Iran-Europe Economic and Technological Conference under the theme of 'New Horizon' with the aim of countering Iranophobia project after the US withdrawal from Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Iran's deputy vice president for international and technological affairs, Ali Morteza Birang stated that Iran-Europe conference, organized by Iranian Ravand Institute for Economic and International Studies, focuses on developing bilateral economic cooperation and internationalizing the knowledge-based companies.

Vienna hosted the first Iran-Europe cooperation conference three years ago, the official said, adding the US May decision has made many European companies be cautious about their cooperation with Iran.

He further underlined the importance of creating a positive atmosphere in Iran-Europe cooperation in order to counter moves against bilateral relations.

In Brussels, Iranian and European officials are to identify the new horizon for bilateral cooperation in the areas of technology, energy, national resources, etc, Birang said.
