Iranian Students Bring Home Medals at 2018 Mathematics Without Borders – Int’l Tournament

The Iranian students’ team on the 2018 Mathematics without Borders - International Tournament in Bulgaria took home gold, silver and bronze medals for their high scores at the international competition in Bulgaria, held June 29- July 2, 2018.

According to an ISCA report, Iranian students’ mathematics team could receive 5 gold, 3 silver, 4 bronze and an honorary diploma, also was introduced as the most qualitative team in this tournament.

The fifth edition of the tournament was held with participants from Russia, Romania, Vietnam, Bulgaria, China, Australia, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Iran in Bulgaria – 29 June – 2 July 2018.

Masiha Bagheri Tanha, Sepehr Ramezani, Arian Alavi, Mohammad Hassan Falahat and Zahra Hosseini won gold medals.

Silver medalists are Tabasom Jabari, Aria Vahedi and Pouria Zareie, while Mohammad Ghanizadegan, Sadra Khaleghi, Seyed Reza Emami and Pouya Jahangir Morad snatched bronze medals. Seyed Rasta Jahed received an honorary diploma as well.
