Kish Island to Hold RoboCup Asia Pacific 2018

The head of Islamic Azad University, Qazvin branch has stated that the university’s platform for industrial robots is in commercialization phase right now.

According to an ISCA report, Dr. Morteza Mousakhani explained that due to the importance of developing companies based on knowledge, eight knowledge-based companies are in the investment phase to cooperate with Qazvin IAU.

The Acting head of Islamic Azad University Science & Technology Park also announced that the RoboCup Asia Pacific (RCAP) 2018 will be held in Kish Island, on December 5-10, 2018 with the participants from Asian countries, Russia and Australia.

RoboCup Asia Pacific (RCAP) is a super-regional headquarter representing the RoboCup Federation coordinating RoboCup activities in the Asia Pacific region.

The Robot World Cup Initiative is an attempt to foster AI and intelligent robotic research by providing a standard problem, playing soccer, where wide range of technologies can be integrated and examined.
