Najafabad SAMA IAU Student Receives Honorary Diploma in 2018 Japanese JQA

A student of SAMA Najafabad Islamic Azad University has received an honorary diploma at the international section of 18th JQA International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest in Japan.

According to an ISCA report, 10-year-old Fatemeh Javanmardi from Isfahan received an honorary diploma at the international section.

More than 17,000 works from 96 countries across the world had been submitted to the 18th JQA International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest in Japan and Iran participated at the contest with 265 works, four of which were selected as prize winners.

12-year-old Nasrin Mahboub from Ardebil province won the first prize at the international section of the event, while 11-year-old Maedeh Aslanlou from Zanjan, 10-year-old Fatemeh Javanmardi and Hassan Hosseini from Isfahan received an honorary diploma at the international section.

Since 1999, Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA) and International Certification Organization Network (IQNet) have been hosting the JQA International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest for children aged 7 to 15 years old from around the world, supported by UNICEF Tokyo Office.

The JQA International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest aims at giving “an opportunity for children of the future generation to become more aware of their global environment through drawing picture under the theme of the environment of our Earth,” according to the contest’s website.
