Iran, Malaysia Ink Academic MoU

Persian Gulf University (PGU) in Bushehr province and Malaysian university of 'UTM' have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on science and research cooperation.

The MoU was signed by Dean of Faculty of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Engineering Abdolatif Hashemi-Fard, on behalf of PGU, and Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of UTM Ahmad F. Ismail, IRNA reports.

Based on the MoU, both universities will cooperate in the fields of exchanging faculties and students, scientific cooperation, holding seminars and conferences.

Mosleh said the PGU also signed a cooperation MoU with Delhi Technology Institute in India in the fields of academic and cultural exchanges last week.

The PGU with around 7000 students in 29 BA/BS, 48 MS/MA and 13 PhD courses works in direction of entrepreneurship and was elected by Ministry of Higher Education as a pilot for Entrepreneur University.
