Tehran to Host ISC 2018

The International Conference on Information Society and Smart Cities (ISC 2018) will be held in Tehran's Shahid Beheshty University on 15th August, 2018.

According to the official website, researchers from Italy, Spain, Greece, South Korea, and many others will attend the International Conference at Shahid Beheshty University.

As one of the key speaker, Massimiliano Mandarini – Marchingenio, architect and designer, works from years of research and design integration between design, architecture and sustainability, stated that creating a smart city, requires considering all the necessary aspects such as the role of green space in which is essential.

Some of the major objectives of "smart cities" is to reduce energy consumption in cities, reduce pollutants and pollution, and providing faster and more accurate municipal services to city dwellers.

The smart cities vision is to seamlessly integrate information and communication technologies with the internet of things (IoT) to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance communications between networks.

The end goal is to enable cities to leverage their IoT devices to create a more cohesive and connected environment.
