Iranian National Museum of Science Hosts International Students

Iranian National Museum of Science and Technology hosted students from 17 countries during the 29th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) held in Tehran on July 15-22, 2018.

According to an ISCA report, more than 280 students from 70 different countries have participated in IBO 2018, organized by the Ministry of Education in partnership with the Universities of Tarbiat Modarres.

As a spiritual sponsor, Iranian National Science and Technology Museum (INMOST) is the key historical, scientific and cultural project. INMOST is the national tourist spot of important science education and leisure travelling base.

INMOST is comprised of 7 galleries of surgical instruments, indigenous technologies, science center, Morse to mobile, renewable energies, optics and astronomical instruments.

Iranian National Science and Technology Museum currently has opened 6 thematic exhibition halls to the public. They are: Alternative Energy, Ancient Indigenous Technologies, Physics, Surgery and Astronomy Instrument, Communication and Science center.

The building, designed by French architect André Godard and completed in 1937, is one of the more attractive modern buildings in Tehran, blending Sassanian principles with art deco–style brickwork.
