AUT, Varna University Sign Co-op MoU

Officials of Allameh Tabataba'i University and University of Varna in Bulgaria have signed a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop their academic relations.

According to an ISCA report, in line with developing international cooperation and improving training courses, AUT and Varna University inked a cooperation MoU based on the Erasmus Program, a European Union student exchange program.

According to the MoU, both sides will be able to exchange three students (for one semester) and six faculties (each one for a week) in the field of management for three years.

Erasmus+ is the EU's program to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The aim of Erasmus+ is to contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, jobs, social equity and inclusion, as well as the aims of ET2020, the EU's strategic framework for education and training.

Erasmus+ also aims to promote the sustainable development of its partners in the field of higher education, and contribute to achieving the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy.
