Tehran to Host 1st Iranian “Headache School”

The Iranian Headache Association in collaboration with the European Headache Federation will hold a “Headache School” for neurologists and general practitioners in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Iran Headache Association official website, the joint meeting of 1st Iranian Headache School and 6th European Headache Federation School of Advanced Studies will be held on October 4-6, 2018.

This headache school will give neurologists and general practitioners the chance to increase their knowledge of an update on relevant diagnostic and treatment approaches for headache and facial pain disorders.

Headache disorders are the most frequent brain conditions among the general population affecting the majority of people. IHA (Iranian Headache Association), a national, nonprofit organization that supervised by Iranian neurological association, has sought to improve the life of those affected by headache in Iran.

The key speakers will be Fayyaz Ahmed, Hull, England, 3 talks, Lars Bendtsen, Copenhagen, Denmark, 2 talks, G. Lambru, London, UK, 2 talks, Christian Lampl, Linz, Austria, 3 talks, Paolo Martelletti, Rome, Italy, 2 talks, S. Sacco, L’Aquila, Italy, 5 talks and Mansoureh Togha, Tehran, Iran, 2 talks. Other speakers are Iranian neurologists, the majority of whom were trained and practiced in Headache.

Young neurologists form Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, India, Iraq, Turkey, and Russia, and other countries from all over the world will be welcomed to attend the Joint Meeting of 1st Iranian Headache School and 6th European Headache Federation School of Advanced Studies.
