Iranian Kids Rank 1st in 2018 I-Math

Iranian kids took the first position in three age ranges of A, B and C at 2018 I-Math competitions held in Malaysia.

The Iranian team participated with 130 children in 2018 I-Math competitions, in Ideal Convention Centre Shah Alam Zone D, Malaysia. The event was held with almost 600 participants from various countries including US, Canada, Singapore, Russia, Iraq, Malaysia, Iran and China.

The supervisor of the Iranian team, Dr. Mohammad Rahim Vaseghi stated that I-Math goes beyond mere ‘memorization of facts’ to methodical application of concepts learnt, thereby, creating long-term impressions that help children learn complex math concepts with ease. As he noted, applying I-Math effective methods could help students to cope with math phobia.

Dr. Dino Wong, Founder & President - UCMAS International, evaluated the high level of math understanding of Iranian kids and declared that Iranian children took the world’s top ranking in terms of understanding mathematical concepts.

This organization conducts successful Abacus Mental Arithmetic Education program that helps children (aged 5-13 years) calculate fast and accurately.
